Current Positions
Electrical Apprentice
We’re currently looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join the Ultraflex Electrical team.
This isn’t a “hand you a broom and hope you pick it up” apprenticeship. You’ll work alongside experienced electricians & Gareth — a Master Electrician and Electrical Inspector with 17+ years’ experience — getting hands-on from day one across real jobs and real sites, with people genuinely invested in getting you there.

What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled or willing to enrol in an electrical apprenticeship
- Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and genuine willingness to learn
- Good communication and a team-first attitude
- Full or restricted driver’s licence with reliable transport – Have the right to work in New Zealand.
- Punctual, reliable, and takes pride in showing up
- Pre-Trade Course preferred but not mandatory
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting qualified electricians on-site
- Learning to install and maintain electrical systems
- Using tools and equipment safely
- Following health and safety procedures
- Bringing a positive, professional attitude every day
